Holds a doctor of Pharmacy from Frankfurt University and a postgraduate in Pharmaceutical science from Banaras Hindu University with diplomas in Microbiology and Biochemistry. He has worked in many multinational pharmaceutical formulation units. He has unique distinction of working in R&D, manufacturing and marketing area with a total of 20 years of industrial experience. He started formulation-manufacturing consultancy in 1979 and has many formulations to his credit both in human and veterinary. In fact, he is one of the pioneers in formulations for poultry and of course in aquaculture. Dr. M.S.Ranga Chary is the author of all the formulations presently being manufactured and marketed by Growel.
Is a science graduate and a qualified Chartered Accountant. He has 31 years of post qualification experience of which 15 years as a practicing chartered accountant and from the year 2000 as a whole time director of Growel. He takes care of the commercial and financial aspects of the company. He is also one of the standard bearer in taking up diversifying activities of setting up a world class aqua feed manufacturing unit with a capacity of 300,000 tons of fish and shrimp feed, a state of art shrimp processing unit with a capacity of 25,000 tons.
Holds a Bachelor (Hons.) degree in Chemical engineering from BITS-PILANI and Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from RUTGERS UNIVERSITY, USA. He has an experience of working in Multi National pharma companies before joining Growel Formulations Pvt Limited. He takes care of sales and operations aspects of the company. He works closing with R&D department for innovating new products and improvising the existing products to keep up with the aquaculture dynamics in India and also across the globe. He is also actively involved in the business activities of Growel Feeds Private Limited and Growel Processors Private Limited. Apart from the above, he looks after the company’s investment activities.
Over the years, the company has evolved to be the market leader in the aqua formulations business by having right set of people by its side.
